What is your philosophy on hockey?
Herb Brooks once said, “Great moments are born from great opportunities.” There is no time like the present for us to come together as a team. The love of the game will prevail; and the rest, well, that will be history.
Best Saints memory?
The PowerHockey Cup 2006 in Calgary was exciting. The competition was high and it was fun to travel internationally. My favorite on ice (or on court) memory, holding Toronto to two goals in the semi’s. It was a true test and even though we did not win, I will forever savor the challenge.
Favorite Wild Player?
Derek Boogaard – A definite fan favorite, aggressive and fearless.
Favorite Sports Team? Other than the Wild
I love football, especially the NFL. Living in Minnesota, I have passion for the purple – the Vikings. I rarely miss a game. My second favorite team is the Colts. Tony Dungy is inspirational with his purpose-driven life of faith, family, and football. And Peyton Manning is the best QB!
Personal Sports Achievements
MPHL Goaltender of the Year – 2000 and 2007
Favorite Alcoholic Drink?
Strawberry Margarita
Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drink?
Latte, with a shot of hazelnut or vanilla – I need my coffee and there seems to be a Caribou or Starbucks on every corner! Convenient, huh?!
Favorite Food?
Mexican is great, probably because the chips and salsa are so addicting. Cheesecake is definite for dessert – white chocolate raspberry truffle, anyone?
Favorite Movie?
Cinderella Man, Dirty Dancing, Good Will Hunting, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, P.S. I Love You, Shawshank Redemption, Sweet Home Alabama, The Waitress, Walk the Line
Favorite TV Show?
Army Wives, Big Brother, Brothers and Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, and anything on HGTV and TLC
Favorite Band?
I love country….Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Rodney Atkins, Martina McBride, Reba, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, and Sugarland.
Best Concert you’ve seen?
My top five: Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Dixie Chicks, Brad Paisley, and Alabama’s Farewell Tour
Place you’d like to travel sometime?
Italy
What’s your weekend like?
It’s pretty relaxed. I usually hang out with my niece and nephew or catch a movie.
What are your interests besides Hockey?
I like to attend concerts, soak up some rays, shop for funky looking sneakers, and travel.
