The Minnesota Saints are in their sixth year of existence. The Saints are one of two PowerHockey traveling teams in Minnesota . The PowerHockey World Cup (2001) was the first time they competed in a tournament, where they finished in 9th place. They competed again in the PowerHockey Cup 2004, finishing in 3rd place. Most recently, they competed in the PowerHockey Cup 2006, finishing in 4th place.

All of the Saints team-members play on various teams in the Minnesota PowerHockey League. Players that have received Minnesota Division awards are Defensive player of the Year Jen Onsum ('98, '99, '05 and '06), Rookies of the Year Joe Hugley ('99) and Chad Wilson ('04), Most Valuable Players Josh Twite ('04) and Chad Wilson ('05 and '06), and Goaltenders of the Year Sarah Heinsch ('00)and Cindy Condon ('03).

Cindy, Dan, Dave, Jen, Joe, and Sarah all have been participants in Adapted Athletics as a part of the Minnesota State High School League, playing in the sports of Indoor Soccer, Floor Hockey, and Indoor Softball.
